Placeholder Management

The Placeholders section allows administrators to create, view, and manage reusable text tokens (placeholders) used in templates. Placeholders automatically populate dynamic content in messages, depending on the selected region or user-specific data.
These placeholders are especially useful for inserting links, contact info, location-specific payment details, and other content blocks into Email, SMS, Document, or Call templates.

How To Guides

1. How to Access Placeholders

  1. From the top navigation menu, hover over Templates.
  2. Click on Placeholders in the dropdown.
  3. You will be taken to the Placeholders Management screen.

2. How to Add a New Placeholder

(Note: This function depends on your access level and system permissions)
  1. Click the Add Token button.
  2. Fill in:
    • Placeholder ID – A unique identifier, e.g. updatedpaymentinfo
    • Regional Values – Input specific content for each country or region (e.g. Trinidad, St. Lucia, Grenada).
  3. Save the token. It will now appear in the Existing Placeholders list and can be used in templates.

3. How to Use Placeholders in Templates

  1. When creating or editing a template, insert the placeholder code (e.g. {{updatedpaymentinfo}}) directly into the Content field.
  2. When the notification is sent, the placeholder will be replaced with its corresponding value based on the user's region.
